Well, you already know I'm going to attempt to make this fabulous dish using my hubby as my taste tester. Bless his little heart for putting up with my shenanigans. Anywho, it's a lovely dish called "One Pan Pasta" (recipe below). It's supposed to turn out like this...
30 minutes later I got to cutting! I took to the stove with my Suze Stewart Living and was very pleased with this dish.
Here's my version:
I literally threw everything in the pot the same way it looks in the picture then added water last. The recipe did not call for meat but I added chicken. Next time I’ll use shrimp because it cooks faster. The prep time was about 10 minutes and cook time was about 10-15 minutes. I love 10 minute meals cuz I’m a lazy procrastinator with a child at that! It was very tasty. Hubs approved and ate 2 bowls.
My child however ate his Piano smh. What can I say, whatever keeps the boy busy. Please find recipe below the pic.
Prep: 15 mins
Total time: 20 mins
servings 4
Ingredients
12 ounces linguine
12 ounces cherry or grape tomatoes, halved or quartered if large
1 onion, thinly sliced (about 2 cups)
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon red-pepper flakes
2 sprigs basil, plus torn leaves for garnish
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
4 1/2 cups water
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Directions
Step 1
Combine pasta, tomatoes, onion, garlic, red-pepper flakes, basil, oil, 2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and water in a large straight-sided skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat. Boil mixture, stirring and turning pasta frequently with tongs, until pasta is al dente and water has nearly evaporated, about 9 minutes.
Step 2
Season to taste with salt and pepper, divide among 4 bowls, and garnish with basil. Serve with oil and Parmesan.

I love one pot/pan meals! I'm going to make this!
